WEEK 8: DESIGN PLANNING
Do Good Project WEEK 8
From my previous post, I have listed out two design planning. I have chosen the first design and further develop it. My aim is to create a stimulation environment to show the students' day-to-day activities in managing their finances and challenges. This gave me an idea of creating a mini gamified tower by utilising the projection mapping to show different scenario of challenges in managing finance.
At the current moment, I find this design still need further improvement, which I'm planning to further refine it in the following week.
I received feedback from Lin yew and Ron about the technical part and the design planning. Lin yew raised a good point about considering the relevance of the project's needs. He suggested that I should think about whether the project requires a separate device for the interface, or if projecting the interface onto a table would be suffice.
By prioritizing relevancy over difficult, high risk and so on. This will avoid myself in limiting myself during the planning process. This approach allows me to focus on what truly matters for the project. I have also received suggestions in technical part. I'm considering of trying out processing and using Arduino components like ultrasonic sensor to detect the depth.
